Codename: go fast (sci-fi roguelike demo)
Fun little game I cooked up - it's my take on the risk of rain formula in 2D, crossed with some kind of speedrunning game. Currently features one character, 10 items, and 2 enemy types, played across procedurally generated levels. There is audio, but it is off by default (go into settings and adjust the master for it to kick in).
All audio tracks/sounds are self-written or synthesized.
Credit to penusbmic for art - most of the visuals are lightly modified from his dark series asset pack.
Instructions
Your goal is to reach the spinning square portal to get to the end of each level! Enemies get stronger every level, and you gain exp based on how full the "exp jar" is in the top left at the moment you extract. The "exp jar" slowly drains over time, but killing enemies fills it back up - try to time it so you exit with it as full as possible!
You also get to choose one stackable powerup (3 choices per level) at the end of each level - there's some nutty OP combinations.
Finish 20 levels to beat the game.
